R5 Zero Crease Soft Laundry Kit is our kit for clean and naturally soft laundry. In fact, it contains our detergent sheets for hand and machine laundry and three dryer balls.

Dryer Balls are a natural and organic fabric softener , handmade with 100% wool . They are used exclusively in the dryer . They replace traditional fabric softener, are wrinkle-free and completely reusable for over 1,000 loads. They reduce drying time (they absorb moisture by absorbing up to 30% of their weight in water).

The balls work differently from a traditional fabric softener. Chemical fabric softener deposits surfactants on fabrics to make them soft to the touch and scented. Wool balls, on the other hand, work through mechanical action in the dryer: they separate the fabrics, reduce wrinkles, and absorb some of the moisture from the load. If you are looking for the "soft to the touch" feel typical of chemical fabric softeners, the balls do not reproduce it. If you are looking for fewer wrinkles and more even drying, they are useful.
The balls are reusable for many drying cycles. Replace them when you see them very worn, frayed, flattened, or when they start to lose fibers in noticeable quantities. With regular use, they have a long useful life.
