Yes, the method is slightly different, but it only takes 2-3 uses to get used to it. A solid cosmetic is a concentrated formula without water (or with a minimal amount). The water that normally makes up 60-80% of a traditional liquid shampoo or shower gel is replaced by the shower water: you wet the product, it creates a lather, you apply it, and rinse it out as you would with a traditional cosmetic. The 3 steps: Activate: pass the solid under running water or rub it between wet hands until you get a creamy lather Apply: distribute it over wet hair and/or body and massage gently Rinse and store: rinse thoroughly, then leave the solid to dry in a ventilated place or in the open R5 solid holder with drainage Why “solid” does not mean “less effective”: the same concentration of active ingredients you would find in a 250/300 ml bottle is concentrated in a 70 g solid. Buongiorno Lorenza e grazie per il suo feedback. Questo prodotto contiene un vero agente condizionante specifico per capelli, non è “solo uno shampoo senza balsamo”. La molecola si chiama Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein: è un derivato proteico cationico, cioè carico positivamente, che si lega alla superficie del capello rendendolo più morbido, pettinabile e meno crespo. È esattamente la tipologia di sostanze che nei prodotti tecnici viene classificata come hair conditioning agent. In questa formula, a supporto dell’effetto condizionante, ci sono anche l’Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (olio di girasole) e il Prunus Avium Seed Oil (olio di nocciolo di ciliegia). Entrambi sono oli vegetali emollienti, che contribuiscono a lubrificare il fusto, dare scorrevolezza e ridurre la sensazione di secco, soprattutto se il prodotto rimane qualche minuto sui capelli. Detto questo, è vero che i capelli ricci sono molto più esigenti in termini di condizionamento rispetto ai capelli lisci: tendono a seccarsi di più, hanno bisogno di maggiore quota lipidica e spesso di condizionanti più “pesanti” o in concentrazioni più alte. Per alcune tipologie di riccio (soprattutto riccio molto secco o trattato) un prodotto 2‑in‑1 di questo tipo può risultare insufficiente da solo e richiedere sempre un balsamo specifico o una maschera separata dopo il lavaggio. Capiamo la sua sensazione di secchezza, soprattutto se ha un riccio esigente, ma da un punto di vista formulativo il prodotto contiene sia un agente condizionante vero e proprio sia una quota di oli. Gli ingredienti li può trovare sia sulla scatola sia sul sito. Non è uno shampoo ‘senza balsamo’, è semplicemente un prodotto più leggero rispetto a un balsamo/maschera specifico per ricci molto secchi.
