The GUPPYFRIEND is a laundry bag that reduces the breakage of synthetic fibres during washing — on average by 86% compared to normal washing. The microfibres that break off collect in the corners of the bag and can be removed and disposed of separately instead of ending up in rivers and seas. It is made from untreated polyester (PET) and produced in Europe. It is not made of cotton.
Place synthetic items — fleece, polyester, nylon — inside the bag, close it, and put everything in the washing machine with the rest of your laundry. After washing, check the inside corners of the bag and remove the collected microfibres.
