The Green Product Award is an international recognition that rewards innovative, sustainable and high-quality products and services. Created in 2013, it is aimed at both companies and start-ups, with the aim of promoting ecological solutions and supporting the adoption of sustainable practices worldwide. This year's theme is “ Positive Impact ,” focusing on solutions that improve quality of life while reducing environmental impact. When we were asked to take part in the initiative, we found in this theme the ideals that drove us to create R5. It was therefore natural for us to take part and propose the latest creation from R5, Odour Control, which, just launched, has already become one of our best sellers. Odour Control: Benefits and Action When it comes to eliminating bad odors, not all products are created equal. The Odour Control R5 probiotic solution represents a radical change from traditional air fresheners . But what makes this product so unique? 1. Mechanism of Action Odour Control R5: our product uses probiotics, or beneficial bacteria, which act directly by degrading the molecules responsible for bad odors. Traditional Deodorants: Conventional deodorants mask odors with fragrances, without addressing the underlying problem. Once the fragrance wears off, the unpleasant odor returns. 2. Duration and Efficiency Odour Control R5: Thanks to probiotic bacteria, the product continues to act for several hours, even after application. Probiotics form a sort of active barrier that prevents the formation of new bad odors Traditional Air Fresheners: The coverage offered by traditional air fresheners is temporary. Pet-friendly: Odour Control R5: specially designed for homes with pets. The formula and delicate fresh and floral fragrance have been specially designed not to bother pets. Traditional Deodorants: No Attention to Four-Legged Friends How to use: Pour the contents of the refill (25 ml) into the empty 250 ml R5 spray bottle or another clean bottle, respecting the indicated dilutions Add 250 ml of drinking water. Screw the dispenser, the product is ready for use. Materials and Packaging: Our containment packaging may seem "simple", but we want to be consistent with our philosophy: We only use FSC® Mix cardboard, minimum 70% recycled and recyclable in separate waste collection Paper We reduce printing to a minimum We have reduced the weight of the paper to a minimum to reduce consumption and weight during transport. The refillable bottle is made of plastic, because plastic allows us to maintain the characteristics of the product unchanged and in our very first LCA study on packaging it proved to be the best material when evaluated over the entire life cycle (compared to aluminum and glass). Plastic is light, resistant and durable, so we can apply the same concept as the refillable bottle: we use and reuse it for a truly long time. Furthermore, the Flairosol spray bottle offers continuous and uniform application thanks to its advanced technology. Unlike traditional sprays, it releases a fine mist without the use of propellants, is environmentally friendly and non-pressurized, and guarantees coverage without large drops.
