We are now a certified B Corp™: As a B Corp™, we are part of a global movement of companies that meet high standards of social and environmental impact. B Corp™ is a certification that recognizes companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, responsibility and transparency. It is not a legal status, but a voluntary commitment to create a positive impact for all stakeholders, not just shareholders. The certification is issued by B Lab™, a non-profit organization that seeks to transform the global economic paradigm for the benefit of all people, communities and the planet. Its international network promotes change in economic systems to foster the vision of an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic paradigm. B Lab™ creates standards, policies, tools and programs that aim to change the behavior, culture and structure of the current economic system. It mobilizes the global B Corp™ movement to inspire collective action to address society's most difficult challenges, and collaborates with governments, academia, coalitions and other institutions to promote change in economic systems. Certification Note The “B Corporation Certification” is a trademark that is licensed by B Lab, a private non-profit organization, to companies that, like ours, have successfully passed the B Impact Assessment (“BIA”) and therefore meet the requirements requested by B Lab in terms of social and environmental performance, responsibility and transparency. It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 765/2008 or a national, European or international standardization body pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 1025/2012. The BIA criteria are distinct and autonomous from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO standards or other standardization bodies and are not ratified by national or European public institutions. B stands for Benefit for All. To become a B Corp™, a company must complete a rigorous assessment that measures its impact on workers, customers, communities, and the environment. The assessment covers topics such as governance, employee benefits, diversity, inclusion, supply chain, carbon footprint, and community engagement. Achieving B Corp™ certification was no easy feat. We underwent the B Impact Assessment™, which examines everything we do and how we do it: our team, customers, suppliers, community, and the wider environment, while also meeting legal requirements that require us to consider purpose beyond profit, and we have always been committed to this by deciding early on to be a Benefit Corporation. In Italy there are only 220 B Corp™ companies. We achieved a score of 109.9 in the B Impact Assessment™, above the national and global industry average, and you can see the results here . B Corp™ is more than just a certification. It is also a global movement of people using business as a force for good. There are over 4,000 B Corps™ in over 70 countries, across a variety of industries and sizes. Some examples of well-known B Corps™s include Patagonia, Ben & Jerry's, Kickstarter, and Eileen Fisher. These companies share a common vision of creating a more inclusive and sustainable economy that works for everyone. Being a B Corp™ means being part of a community of companies that are redefining the concept of success in business: success not in financial terms, but in being companies that positively impact communities and the environment. It means being responsible towards your stakeholders and the planet. It means working every day to improve your impact and inspire others to do the same . It means being proud of what you do and how you do it. Thank you all for being part of this journey . We are just at the beginning, it is true, but from here we want to continue to improve our actions in favor of society and the Planet. #GoForPlanetA #BCorp #BCorpCertified #BCorpItalia
