Our commitment to sustainable development
We take sustainability seriously. We are a Benefit company: we have built into our corporate charter the specific purpose of having an impact on society and the environment. We decided from the very beginning to measure the environmental footprint of our products, carrying out an LCA Screening.
We are proud to be among the first companies in the world to first in Italy to more than offset our plastic footprint by becoming Plastic Negative with rePurpose Global. Achieving our Plastic Negative certification is one step in our company's sustainability plan. We recognize that there is more work to be done to protect our planet and we are taking immediate and long-term actions to address our environmental footprint.
3% of our turnover is dedicated to social and reforestation projects
We have been supporting two important projects since its inception: A special social reforestation program in Burkina Faso and an infrastructure development project for plastic workers in India (Project Anant Pranay).
We are already a Benefit Society
Benefit Societies (B Corporations) represent an evolution of the very concept of a company: they integrate in their corporate purpose, in addition to profit objectives, the objective of having a positive impact on society and the biosphere. We have already undertaken the path to become a B Corp.
